A Cleveland man is facing more than a decade in jail after throwing two cups of scalding hot coffee on a McDonald's drive-thru worker, leaving her with first-degree burns.
Joseph DeLuca, 54, can be seen in surveillance footage throwing the freshly-made hot drinks on the female cashier, after she accidentally served him two coffees and asked for one back at the drive-thru in Cleveland.
DeLuca, who court records show already has a number of vandalism, intimidation and burglary charges, can be seen pulling up to the window at 12.30pm on February 19.

He reportedly ordered a single cup of coffee. The unnamed female employee can be seen in the CCTV footage handing him a tray with two cups of coffee.

However, she appeared to realize and error had been made and asked to see his receipt.
DeLuca can be seen arguing with the cashier, before getting out of his car and throwing both cups of hot coffee through the open drive-thru window.
The woman can be seen putting her arms up in defense as she is completely drenched in the freshly-made drinks.  He then speeds away.
The woman, who has not been named, was treated for first-degree burns on her face, neck and shoulders, and she suffered from blurred vision after the attack, local media have reported.
Deluca is now facing more than 10 years in prison for injuring the fast-food worker.
The 54-year-old pleaded guilty to felony assault charges stemming from this incident and another one where he was accused of assaulting his co-worker in a June 25 incident.
DeLuca reportedly attacked a co-worker who had witnessed him get into a fight with another man a few days earlier.
He had been driving his 1999 Toyota Corolla when he spotted his co-worker walking along a street in the city.
DeLuca pulled over, grazed the man with car, before getting out to attack, prosecutors said.
The Cleveland man already has more than 20 prior convictions on charges stemming from vandalism and intimidation to burglary and grand theft, according to court records.
He is due to appear in court again on December 3 for sentencing.
