#FeelingCute challenge: Texas prison guards fired after probe into 'inappropriate' posts

Days after the Texas Department of Criminal Justice announced an investigation into reports of "inappropriate" photos and social media comments by correctional officers, multiple officers have been fired or resigned.
The investigation was tied to the "#FeelingCute" challenge, the department said last week. The trend often involves uniformed workers posting selfies coupled with captions joking about what their work day may entail.
The Houston Chronicle — which reported earlier this month that officers were apparently linked to posts with captions such as "Feeling cute, might just gas some inmates today, IDK" — reported on Tuesday that four officers have been fired and two resigned because of the investigation.
Texas Department of Criminal Justice statements to the Chronicle and the Associated Press did not provide details on the social media content involved in the firings.
It's not the first time local officials have grappled with controversial comments connected with the trend, which often ends with "IDK" — "I don't know."
A Georgia water utility company issued a statement after an employee allegedly posted a selfie captioned, “Feeling cute. Might cut off your water later...idk,” The (Columbus, Georgia) Ledger-Enquirer reported on April 11.
And when Aransas Pass (Texas) Police posted a photo of a police vehicle captioned "Feelin' cute.. might stop someone later, idk..." on April 15, local media coverage followed.
