With Thanksgiving just a week away, people are trolling their moms and dads by asking them how to cook a 25lb turkey in the microwave as part of a new online challenge.
The viral prank has left more than a few parents scratching their heads and wondering where exactly they went wrong with their children.
Using the hashtag #TurkeyChallenge, people are taking to Twitter to share screengrabs of the hilarious text messages their parents sent in response to the ridiculous question.
What a question: As part of the #TurkeyChallenge, people are asking their parent show to cook a 25lb turkey in the microwave

Savage: Christsina Leonard's mom questioned who was ever going to marry her
Many parents tried to be helpful by telling their children to check Google or offering tips for easily cooking a turkey in the oven.
Jenna Barnes explained that her mother 'kept her real thoughts to herself' until she confessed that it was all a joke.
'I have never cooked a turkey in the microwaves. I don't trust that,' she told her. 'My easy way is in a turkey cooking bag made by Reyolds. Called oven bags.'
Jenna's mom also pointed out that 'a 25-pound turkey would not even fit in the microwave.'
Another person named Linda revealed that her mother called and gave her the phone number to all of the Boston Markets in her 15-mile radius.

A woman named Maggie shared her mom's thoughtful answers to her bizarre questions, explaining: 'I have asked my mother so many idiotic questions over the years, she is THIS patient with me.'
Her mom even went as far as suggesting she try calling the Butterball hotline.
To pull off the prank, many of the people told their parents that they were in charge of the turkey for their Friendsgiving dinners ahead of the holiday.
Carter Koontz admitted that her participation in the challenge resulted in her mom questioning her 'entire parenthood.'
'Okay Blondie. You're scaring me. You would never microwave a turkey!!' her mom responded to the question. 'Where did I go wrong?

'You totally have to bake a turkey and usually it's about 15 minutes per pound so a 25 pound turkey would need to bake roughly over 6 hours,' she added.
'And to have it come out right there's other prep work that has to be done I can tell you more about that if you call me? #turkeyexplodesinmicrowave.'
One mom was convinced her daughter Kaitlyn was drinking when she asked if she should put her frozen turkey in a big bowl of water before putting it in the microwave.
Others tried to steer their kids away from cooking at all, suggesting instead they grab pre-made poultry at the store.

'Noooo. Oh hell no. Go buy some rotisserie chickens at Walmart,' one mom said.
Of course, some parents couldn't resist laying on the sarcasm.
'Wrap it in tin foil. Put in microwave. Then go buy a pre-cooked one so you can feed the fire department,' one person's mom responded.
Another person revealed her mom called her an 'idiot three separate times.'
'Tried the whole ask your mom how long to microwave a 25lb turkey for... this is what I got,' Christina Leonardo tweeted along with her mom's brutal response.
'The only thing that came to my mind was who the hell is going to marry you,' the mom wrote.
