Classy! Abandoned school converted into mansion with 30-car garage and basketball court is listed at $2.37 million

A Pennsylvania couple is selling their mansion for $2.375 million, but the most unusual part of the sale is how their home looks like an old school.

That's because it is an old school, which the couple transformed into a ranch-style home.

The home, which is located in Mount Morris, was built in 1965 and sometimes takes on the moniker of the 'School House,' for obvious reasons.

The listing for the property on Realtor.com reveals the home has four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and is one floor.

Where things get particularly interesting for the home is the sheer size of the property, which spans 11.43 acres.

The size is largely due to the fact that the home used to be the Perry Elementary School until it was renovated into a mansion.

There is plenty of room for guests to park their cars, as the garage is capable of holding up to 30 vehicles.

There are four bedrooms within the home, all appearing to be fairly large and with more than enough character to match

Once inside, owners will be treated to an award-winning kitchen with a large pantry and not one, but two kitchen islands.

The family room of the home is large and open, with a kitchenette included. The bedrooms have custom closets and bathrooms that are being described as 'spa-like.'

There's a bevy of other features in the home as well, including an indoor basketball court, an arcade, and a spacious home gym.

The property was first listed on the website at the beginning of August 2020.

According to the New York Post, the elementary school had been abandoned before its face lift by the current couple five years ago.

The couple is planning on retiring to a lakefront property after they collect their desired millions for the sale of the mansion.

It's not clear when the school was abandoned.

The property recently went viral on TikTok, where the Zillowtastrophes showed off some of the pictures of the once abandoned, now stunning property.

The video has racked up more than 409,000 likes on the social media platform, although the comments about it aren't all favorable.

'What a waste. They could have turned this into multiple housing units,' one person on the platform complained.
