Fox News host Sean Hannity turned on GOP Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday night for saying President Donald Trump provoked the violent riots on the Capitol building two weeks ago.
Hannity's message was aimed squarely at to 'soon-to-be Minority Leader' McConnell and other 'establishment Republicans' for trying to take the GOP and move on from Trump.
'Establishment Republicans have no backbone, no principle, no courage, no vision. Too many politicians in D.C. are just far too willing to go along, get along, and protect the swamp and that is why conservatives like myself are tired of these empty promises and your rehearsed speeches and had never getting anything done.'

Hannity accused establishment Republicans of having no backbone, courage or vision
Hannity said that they were 'spineless' and described them as fearful for condemning the president over the riot.
He also called McConnell out on why he hadn't spoken out against what he claimed was combative rhetoric from Democrats before declaring the Republic Party needed new leaders.
'We need new leadership in the U.S. Senate. You can represent the people of Kentucky. You're showing basically right now that you're the king of the establishment Republicans that frankly have always had and remain having contempt for President Trump, but more importantly, the 75 million Americans that voted for him.'
Hannity also stated that he felt how no Republicans should give the impeachment trial a second thought.

Fellow Fox News Host Tucker Carlson used his monologue to attack Democrats on Tuesday night's show.
He baselessly claimed the Democrats see the 74 million people who voted for President Donald Trump during November's election as 'terrorists'.
Carlson has become increasingly vocal in recent months, often backing extremist right-wing positions including broadcasting rants against immigration with his views receiving condemnation by civil liberties groups.
But Tuesday night's broadcast attempted to plant doubt in the minds of Trump supporters who might have been watching.

'The leaders of the Democratic Party have now decided that 74 million Trump voters weren't just wrong or misguided, they didn't simply back the wrong guy or have incorrect opinions or fail to see the obvious truths. No, the threat they pose is graver and more serious than that, more dangerous,' Carlson said.
'These 74 million Trump voters are, in fact, terrorists. They're a looming physical threat to the rest of us and we must deal with them in the way that you deal with threats like that - existential threats to the nation. Saddam Hussein, Al-Baghdadi, Kim Jong-un, Donald Trump's voters.'
Sewing seeds of division throughout his monologue, Carlson plowed on.
'For years they told us this country had been infiltrated by Russian spies, but now we know it's worse than that. The real threat, the actual enemy is within. In the end, it always is,' Carlson continued.
'74 million deviationists lurk in our midst. They look like normal people, but ladies and gentlemen, do not be deceived. They are Trotskyites, they're wreckers, Kulaks.
Carlson baselessly claimed that Democrats see all 75 million Trump supporters as 'terrorists'
'We must root them out. It will take a war to do that, an actual war, a war on our own people.'
Divisions between Democrats and Republicans have widened following the riot at the Capitol earlier this month.
As arrests have mounted since the riot, criminal complaints have revealed that many of the suspects have ties to fringe groups such as the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys, another right-wing group.
Others have been characterized as white supremacists and Nazi sympathizers, or believers in QAnon - a far-right conspiracy theory that casts Trump as a savior figure and elite Democrats as a cabal of Satanist pedophiles and cannibals.
