White House adviser Kellyanne Conway responded to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California on Thursday after the stuck-up Democrat reportedly told Conway she doesn’t “talk to staff.”
The fiery exchange between Conway and Pelosi occurred Wednesday, after President Donald Trump walked out of a meeting with Democrats.
Trump was scheduled to meet with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York that day to discuss infrastructure plans, but prior to the meeting, Pelosi claimed Trump “engaged in a cover-up,” which prompted the president to walk out.
Conway explained what happened during the rest of the meeting in a Thursday interview with Fox News.
Pelosi used the meeting to give an “odd” history of infrastructure in the United States, according to Conway.
When Pelosi finished her self-curated history lesson, Conway said she “respectfully” asked the House speaker if she would like to “address some of the specifics the president talked about” regarding infrastructure.
“I talk to the president, I don’t talk to staff,” Conway recalled Pelosi responded.
A senior Trump administration official told CNBC that Pelosi’s exact words were: “I don’t talk to staff. I talk directly to the president.”
And Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff, told CNBC that his boss said: “I’m responding to the president, not staff.”
Regardless of what Pelosi’s exact words were, the gist was the same.
“Let’s face it, she’s the sixth-most-rich member of Congress. She treats everybody like they’re her staff,” Conway told Fox.
In 2015, the Center for Responsive Politicsestimated that Pelosi had a net worth of over $100 million, making her the sixth-wealthiest member of the House of Representatives at the time.
More recent estimates rank Pelosi among the 30 wealthiest members of Congress.
“She treats me like I’m either her maid or her driver or her pilot or her makeup artist, and I’m not,” Conway said.
Conway had the perfect response to the extremely wealthy congresswoman.
“And I said to her, ‘how very pro-woman of you,'” Conway said, “because she’s not very pro-woman.”
Liberals, of course, love to tout themselves as the champion of women for their stance on abortion, but Pelosi seems to have treated Conway, a respectable woman, like she was her maid.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Pelosi would not confirm Conway’s story.
“I’m not going to talk about her,” she said.
“I respond as the speaker of the House to the president of the United States. Other conversations people want to have among themselves is up to them.”

But if Conway’s account is accurate, and this is how Pelosi treats a respectable woman working for the president, imagine what Pelosi thinks of everyday Americans.
Pelosi is a wealthy, elitist liberal, and it’s very satisfying that Conway knocked her down a peg.
