Ana Navarro Misspells Simple Word Twice During Attempt To Insult Trump’s Intelligence

A general rule of thumb that applies to everyone, but especially political pundits, is to be certain you haven’t made any stupid or critical errors when criticizing somebody else’s supposed lack of intelligence.
That was the lesson learned by CNN’s purported “Republican” strategist and loudly anti-Trump analyst Ana Navarro — or at least it should be — after she launched an attack on President Donald Trump’s intellect on Monday that ingloriously backfired on her.
As the destructive fire still raged at the historic Notre Dame Cathedral on Monday, Navarro attempted to use the situation as a means to take a shot at Trump.
She shared a Twitter video of 2020 Democratic contender and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg speaking fluent French to offer his condolences to those who were heartbroken over the loss of the iconic Catholic church that has been the physical and metaphorical heart of Paris for more than 850 years.

In her tweet, Navarro praised Buttigieg while placing Trump’s intellect on the level of an onion or potato.
“Today, I saw a video clip of @PeteButtigieg playing classical piano,” she said. “Another were he speaks in Spanish. And this one, were he tells Parisians, he shares their pain -in French. Just imagine having a President whose intellect exceeds that of a root vegetable…for a change.”

As you probably noticed, Navarro twice misspelled the word “where” as “were.”
Spelling errors and typos are routine in social media and often are allowed to slide without mention, but they do tend to get noticed when they are contained in a post that is critical of somebody else’s intellect.
While many of the Trump Derangement Syndrome-afflicted individuals who responded to Navarro’s tweet ignored her mistakes and latched onto the insult against the president — a strong defense of root vegetables was launched — there were a few who called out her error.

This wasn’t the first time Navarro’s criticism of Trump has backfired. Recall how she attempted to give him grief over how dehumanizing it was that he supposedly called immigrants “animals” — the president was referring to the ruthless MS-13 gang — when she herself had called Trump an “animal” on prior occasions.

While Navarro has every right to take shots at the president’s exhibited level of intelligence, she might want to double check her own grammar and spelling prior to hitting “Tweet” on her next anti-Trump post.
