CNN is reporting Saturday night that two sources say Smollett paid two men to stage the attack, and the co-host of CNN’s “New Day Weekend” reminds us of the real tragedy if this all turns out to be a hoax.
Remember the smoldering-hot take when someone from the Canadian Civil Liberties Association said that “we” should apologize to the girl who lied about being attacked on her way to school by a man trying to cut off her hijab with scissors? “Rather than call for an apology (what good would that do?) from the girl and her family, I believe we owe her an apology for not remembering that, even though she is well-spoken, she is still a child,” she said.
Huh?
It had happened in the summer, there probably would have been riots … good thing for the cold weather.
