Tampa Police unsuccessfully spent an hour trying to get Antonio Brown out of his house to execute an arrest warrant.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver didn’t respond to any of the requests to exit his home. Police used a megaphone to get Brown’s attention. At one point an officer shouted  “We’re not going anywhere,” into the megaphone, according to ABC News. Police called out to Brown verbally while they knocked on his door, but he didn’t respond.

Police continued to speak to Brown from outside, and informed him that they had already contacted his lawyer, according to ABC News.

The arrest warrant comes after Tampa Police were denied a temporary protection order. They had stated they believe Brown “poses a significant danger of causing personal injury to him or herself or others in the near future and beyond by having a firearm or any ammunition in their custody or control or by purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm or any ammunition,” according  ABC News.

The Tampa police are reportedly concerned that Brown has access to two guns, including one handgun he is known to carry.

The protection order request, and arrest warrant are in relation to an altercation between Brown and an alleged victim during which time the police said Brown threw the woman’s belongings out of a house. It is believed that before police arrived, Brown “threw a shoe at the victim, striking her in the ponytail,” according to NBC News.

During the incident, Tampa Police said Brown began throwing the woman’s belongings out of the house. At some point, before police arrived, Brown “threw a shoe at the victim, striking her in the ponytail,” according to NBC News.
