During a segment of CNN’s new movie ‘LFG,’ which stand for ‘Lets Fu….g Go’ athlete and left wing political activist Megan Rapinoe ridiculously compared herself to former President Trump.
According to HBOMax, which partnered with CNN on the film, “LFG is a no-holds-barred, inside account of the U.S. women’s national team’s ongoing fight for equal pay as told by Megan Rapinoe, Jessica McDonald, Becky Sauerbrunn, Kelley O’Hara, Sam Mewis and others.”
“Three months before the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the players filed a class-action, gender discrimination lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation, which sets the stage for LFG. The film interweaves transcendent athletic performances, including a record-breaking World Cup victory in 2019, with the players’ ongoing pursuit for equal pay.”
During the short film clip Rapinoe claimed Donald Trump says ‘wild ass sh*t’ and that she is just like him in that way but she says wild ass sh*t for good.
“In the same sense, it’s totally the same, you know, still just me and still just doing the exact same thing that I was doing before, just sort of in a much more heightened sense,” Rapinoe said.
“I am who I am all the time,” she added. “It’s not like some act. I mean — I don’t know if I want to make this comparison, but in the same ways that people liked that Trump just said some wild ass shit, but, like, I’m like that, but for good. You know? And like, we need more of that.”
While it is 100% true that Megan Rapinoe says some ‘wild ass sh*t’ she is nothing like former President Trump.
The only thing Megan Rapinoe and Donald Trump have in common is they are both human beings and they both live on planet Earth.
The best thing anyone can do is to ignore the political advice of entertainers and athletes.
Science fiction writer Robert Heinlein put it best when he wrote ““[T]here seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously—after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important … so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be ignorant and subliterate every time he opens his mouth.”
Some things never change and Megan Rapinoe proves Heinlein correct because she shows herself to be ignorant and subliterate every time she opens her mouth.
