'You're going to shoot your d**k off': Cops warn New Orleans Saints' Marshon Lattimore to holster gun in his pants before arresting him for receiving stolen property

Cleveland cops were thoroughly concerned that New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore would shoot his member off after they discovered he had a gun awfully close to his groin during a police stop last month.

Police bodycam footage shows the moment when officers surrounded the vehicle Lattimore and three others were riding in after allegedly stopping the car because the driver had committed multiple traffic violations in Cleveland on March 26.

Video shows the officers commenting on how strong the odor of marijuana is inside the vehicle before one asks Lattimore if he has a gun.

As the football player answered officer questions and provided his identification, cops at the scene expressed disbelief that they were in the presence of a star athlete and scolded him for having the firearm.

'Jesus f*****g Christ, you play for the Saints,' one officer remarks before later telling the player: 'You got a lot of stuff going for you.'

The officer added: "It's not like you're a, you know, f*****g chump out there, bro!"

The 24-year-old was booked at Cuyohoga County Jail after being picked up by the Cleveland Police Department's gang investigators. Lattimore was booked on charges of failure to notify and receiving stolen property, and can face up to 18 months in prison if convicted, TMZ Sports reports.

He was arrested with three other men during a traffic stop after Cleveland Police discovered a loaded Glock 19 handgun in the vehicle, a CPD spokeswoman told DailyMail.com.

Lattimore, a passenger in the car, was found to be in possession of his own loaded handgun, which was later determined to have been stolen out of nearby Euclid, Ohio. He was arrested for failing to notify police about his loaded weapon and for receiving stolen property.
