We all know that Democrats know nothing about guns, or in fact most things they want to regulate and control.
That is doubly true when it comes to AR-15s, or any form of semi-automatic weapon.
That said, while Democrats are mostly ignorant about guns, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee is the queen of the ignorant Democrats.
Watch as she tries to talk about AR-15s and makes a complete fool of herself:

Jackson-Lee introduced a bill to regulate so called “assault rifles” and claimed that “my bill that I’ve introduced dealing with the caliber weapon, I held an AR-15 in my hand, I wish I hadn’t. It is as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving. And the bullet that is utilized, a .50 caliber, these kinds of bullets need to be licensed and do not need to be on the street.”
Now that is a special kind of ignorant, but it’s scary because she has the power to regulate things she doesn’t even understand.
As you might expect Jackson-Lee got roasted on Twitter for her ignorance:
