This subway car is any New York City rat's dream.
Shocking video showing the sickening state of a southbound 2 train in the Bronx has gone viral on social media as commuters rail against transit officials for failing to address the mess.
The footage recorded by 33-year-old construction worker Timothy Brown a train with hardly any room for passengers thanks to massive piles of trash made up of food wrappers, plastic bags, newspapers and other miscellaneous items blanketing the floors and benches.
As the camera pans over the filth, Brown can be heard commenting: 'This how the trains be looking in the morning. This s**t is crazy.
'This s**t make you not want to sit on trains and all that.'

'They want us to pay more money? Look at this,' Brown adds, referencing the Metropolitan Transport Authority's recent fare increases.
At the end of the video Brown says: 'MTA, y'all gotta do better.'

He described the scene in more detail in an interview with the New York Post after his clip went viral.
'I was disgusted. That train had a little bit of everything. Everything you think shouldn't be on a train was there,' Brown said.
'I've never seen trains like this. I've never seen homeless like this.'
He added: 'People are hopping the train, hopping the bus, and they wonder why? They wonder why we don't wanna pay.'
Brown said he had 'no words' to describe the smell emanating from the refuse, stating: 'There's no explaining it. It was horrible.'
NYC Transit president Andy Byford said that the video has been brought to the attention of the NYPD.
'This is a clear violation of subway rules and no one should have to ever experience this,' Byford told the Post.
However, Brown says that when he showed the video to MTA workers, they weren't surprised by the state of the car and said it was normal.
'They can't do anything about it,' he said.

  1. Litterbugs galore....The trains are sitting idle at the end of the lines for long enough for a clean up crew to come thru....but seeing as how Mayor DeBraggio is short of funds for anything other than his pet illegals....you'll just have to clean up after yourself or just start pooping and peeing on the floor like the stupid folks of SF do....
