Real Stacey Abrams Finally Comes Out: Fetal Heartbeat Bill Is ‘Evil,’ ‘Abominable’ & ‘Bad for Business’

The Republican-controlled legislature in Georgia recently passed, and Republican Gov. Brian Kemp is expected to sign into law, a “fetal heartbeat” bill that would essentially ban abortions in the state once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detected, which could be as soon as six weeks into a pregnancy.
The bill — HB 481, titled the Living Infants Fairness and Equality or LIFE Act — has drawn incredibly sharp criticism from the left, including a proposed boycott of the state by leftist Hollywood elitists, led by actress/activist Alyssa Milano.
Former Democratic state legislator and failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams took the criticism of the pro-life bill one terrible step further, however.
During an appearance Sunday on MSNBC, Abrams characterized the legislation as “evil” and “abominable” as she made clear that she thought protecting Hollywood jobs in Georgia was more important than protecting unborn babies.
The Federalist reported on the proposed boycott of Georgia by Hollywood, which in essence is little more than an attempt to blackmail the state into backing down from the strong pro-life stance this law would take.

A successful boycott could be very costly for the state. In 2016, the film and television industry was directly responsible for more than 25,000 jobs and more than $1.7 billion in taxable wages in Georgia, according to figures from the Motion Picture Association of America.
As noted, it would appear those jobs are more important than the lives of unborn children in the view of Abrams, which she made clear while speaking with MSNBC host Joy Reid when she said the pro-life bill would be “bad for business” if signed into law.
Reid mistakenly claimed that Kemp had already signed the bill, which she described as “appalling” and “the most restrictive anti-abortion bill in the country, and so you have some folks that are talking boycott, and are saying Hollywood should boycott the state of Georgia.”
To her partial credit, Abrams expressed disapproval of the proposed boycott of her state, for economic reasons. Abrams said of the boycott, “I think it’s a call to action and a call to attention. I do not actually support a boycott of our state. I think you revictimize women in particular when you take away the jobs that have come to the state.

“However, I think it’s very shortsighted of our business community, and our political leadership, to not recognize that these jobs can go elsewhere.”
She spoke of how Georgia grew its film industry by offering tax credits and how other states were lining up to steal away those jobs by offering tax incentives of their own to go along with the liberal virtue signaling from Democratic governors and legislatures.
“I think Georgia has to realize that while we are enjoying an extraordinary boom in the film industry, there’s nothing that says it has to stay here, and we have to be a state that is not only friendly to business, we’ve got to be friendly to the women who work in these businesses,” Abrams said.
“You should not have to worry about your ability to control your bodily autonomy because the governor has pushed such an abominable and evil bill that is so restrictive. It’s not only bad for morality and our humanity, it’s bad for business,” she added, revealing where her priorities truly rank — Hollywood jobs over the lives of unborn babies.
The only thing that is “abominable” and “evil” in all of this is the utterly sickening callousness of the left when it comes to protecting the exceptionally vulnerable unborn.
Only slightly less damning than the complete lack of care for unborn babies with beating hearts is the warm embrace of the perverse Hollywood film industry and its hypocritical promotion of death, destruction and violence.
That, and not the pro-life fetal heartbeat bill, is what is truly appalling, abominable, evil and bad for business.

  1. Now we know who she really is. You can thank your lucky stars she did not get into any elected office THIS TIME.....but what about next time? Babies don't count with this sleazy ho....only money talks and she perks up her ears and holds out her hand....

  2. Abrams, knows abortion is a white peoples thing. So, she is all for it. Talk about obvious, racism. Don't fall for the MSM, statistics, Blacks, hold onto their children all the way through the age when the AID is cut off. Whites, on the other hand, have White Privilege, so they don't get so much AID, hence, abortions, and the mental difficulties such a decision brings, for the rest of Mother's life.
I worked with a man named Bill Self, Bill was so proud of being a child of Georgia. I, understand now, thank you Georgia, please, lead the way.
