Police are investigating whether an out-of-control teen party at a Melbourne Airbnb property leased by a 15-year-old is linked to a number of assaults later in the night.
Senior Sergeant Aaron Riches said Friday night’s party was advertised on Facebook and more than 200 teens, aged between 14 and 16, attended the St Clair Avenue home in Point Cook.
There was no damage to the home but the party was shut down by police at 8.40pm.
It is believed that a number of partygoers remained in the area once police had left.

At 10.45pm two males, aged 15 and 16, were approached by a group of about five youths armed with a knife, according to a police spokesman.
The group assaulted the two teenage boys and stole a mobile phone, backpack and pair of shoes.
A short time later two other teenage boys were robbed and assaulted by a group of about eight males on The Crescent.
A 17-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating whether the incidents are linked.
Airbnb have been contacted for comment.
