Twitter CEO Elon Musk doubled down Tuesday on remarks that he made earlier this month about imprisoning those who allow transgender treatments on minors.
Musk made the remarks this week in response to a tweet regarding a 2016 story about an 18-year-old male who allegedly died when doctors tried to create a vagina for him using part of his colon.
“An 18-year-old boy died when doctors tried to create a vagina for him using part of his colon,” the tweet said. “His colon was used because puberty blockers stopped growth of his genitals, which meant there wasn’t enough tissue to do the penile inversion surgery.”
Musk responded, “This is super messed up. Mature, consenting adults should do as they wish, so long as they do not harm anyone else, but this child was too young for any kind of consent.”
“Every child goes through an identity crisis, but leaping to a permanent solution that sterilizes them for life before they could possibly consent for themselves is wrong,” he said. “Plain and simple.”
“Comprehensive study in Sweden shows *increased* suicide!” Musk continued. “Death for sex-reassigned persons was higher than for controls of same birth sex, particularly death from suicide. They also had increased risk for suicide attempts and psychiatric inpatient care.”
Musk added, “I repeat my statement that any parents or doctors who do this should go to prison for life.”
Musk’s remarks echo a statement he made earlier this month when he said: “Any parent or doctor who sterilizes a child before they are a consenting adult should go to prison for life.”
Late last year, Musk blamed the far-Left for for turning his transgender child against him, according to remarks that he made in an interview.
The 18-year-old biological son of Elon Musk, who identifies as female, filed court papers back in June renouncing the billionaire and seeking a name change.
In the interview with the Financial Times, Musk blamed the far-Left for turning his biological son against him.
“It’s full-on communism … and a general sentiment that if you’re rich, you’re evil,” says Musk. “It [the relationship] may change, but I have very good relationships with all the others [children]. Can’t win them all.”
The report in the newspaper said that Musk had a “dystopian view of the left’s influence on America,” a view that Musk has previously not been shy about sharing.
In a 2021 interview with the Babylon Bee, Musk said that wokeness was one of the biggest threats to civilization.
Musk was asked during the interview to explain the meaning of the following tweet:
“Okay, so traceroute is a networking command to — so, if you want to figure out a path to a particular server, or domain, you’d say ‘traceroute,’ or in Windows, ‘TRACERT,’ that would show you the path to a particular source server, either an IP address or domain name, and it would show you basically all the hops that it goes through, and the latency between each hop,” Musk said. “So traceroute would be like, where did it come from? Where did the virus come from? What is its origin?”
“[Wokeness] is a prevalent mind virus, and arguably one of the biggest threats to modern civilization,” Musk continued, later adding: “At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It basically gives mean people a reason, it gives them a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in false virtue.”
