Timothy O’Donnell is now facing federal charges of arson that carry a min. 5-year-sentence.
According to Jason Meisner of the Chicago Tribune: Listening in on the court appearance for Timothy O’Donnell, charged in federal court with torching a Chicago cop car during the weekend unrest downtown. Prosecutor tells the judge he faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted. The mandatory minimum sentence is 5 years.

Police arrested O’Donnell at his apartment on Tuesday in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. According to Fox 40, O’Donnell admitted to the crime.
