Colonel Tom Moore will release his memoirs in a book deal reportedly worth £1.5million in the coming months. 
The fundraiser who has raised £32.8million for NHS Charities Together is reported to have been asked to write a children's book, a lifestyle book and a cookery book inspired by World War II. 
His PR agents are understood to have agreed a deal with Michael Joseph which is part of Penguin Random House, The Sun reported

It is believed the memoirs could be out in six weeks and are taken from phone interviews and that Colonel Tom will donate the money to the NHS.  
The source told The Sun that discussions are ongoing as to what will be released. They added: 'Any books published will go like hot cakes, that's for sure.' 
On April 6 Colonel Tom set out to walk 100 lengths of his 25-metre garden in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, before his 100th birthday on April 30 and hoped to raise £1,000.

He completed his final lap 10 days later by which time his JustGiving page had £12m in donations. 
But even though he had completed the original goal of 100 laps, Colonel Tom kept walking.  
Michael Joseph at Penguin Random House declined to comment.

Colonel Tom recorded You'll Never Walk Alone as a charity single with Michael Ball and the NHS Voices of Care Choir which reached Number 1 in the UK singles chart.
It made Colonel Tom the oldest artist to claim a Number 1 single. 
He trained as a civil engineer and served in India and Burma during World War II and rose to the rank of Captain. 
He was with the Duke of Wellington's regiment which was formed into the Yorkshire Regiment. 
He was made an honorary Colonel by the Queen to mark his 100th birthday.  
NHS Charities Together have used donations made to the cause to purchase tablets so that patients can speak to their families when they can't visit and hot meals and welfare packs for hospital staff, among other things.
