It was recently announced that the third season will arrive on Netflix on July 4th. 2 Avengers: Endgame is going to fucking destroy us all when it’s released on April 26. With that said, we CANNOT wait. 3 Disneyland (California) and Disney World (Florida) will be opening their new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge parks this summer. And no, you do not need a child to go. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. 4 2019 is expected to be the year that 3D printing really comes into the mainstream. There’s said to be an abundance of “3D bioprinting in the medical field, advanced 3D metal printing which will revolutionize manufacturing, and even more accessible 3D printing at home”. 5 The Fortnite World Cup tournament will take place in late 2019 with a total of $100,000,000 in prizes pledged by Epic Games, over $18 million of which have already been handed out in qualifying games around the world. 6 After only being married for five months, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were pregnant. The internet, of course, lost its mind and will surely do the same when Meghan gives birth this Spring. 7 A sequel to A Handmaid’s Tale will hit shelves in 2019. Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments will take place 15 years after the events of the first book. 8 It’s going to be a significant year for history buffs as 2019 marks the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. For those who live in or travel to Europe, many meaningful events will be taking place, and some travel companies are even offering special tours to mark the anniversaries. 9 We get to see the Losers’ Club all grown up in It: Chapter Two on September 6. 10 Every man, woman, and child will be in theaters on July 19 to see the new live-action Lion King. 11 For those of you that hate The Big Bang Theory, (which seems to be most of the internet) good news!
