A savvy couple turned an old bread lorry into their dream home on wheels for just £23,000.
Martin Hill, 38, and Iona Stewart, 27, brought an ex Hovis delivery truck to save cash on accommodation as they travel around Europe.
The couple picked up the lorry on eBay for just £3,600 and spent £20,000 on renovating the 28 feet box.
Their transformation of the five tonne truck went so well, they have moved in.
Martin has now sold his house and bar in Nottingham and says they will use it 'full-time'. At home in Nottingham house prices average at around £200,000 - ten times what Martin and Iona paid for their dream dwelling.
The pair met while doing a ski season in the French Alps, which they now return to every winter. Next year, they will be taking their home with them.
Martin said: 'About four years ago after a few too many beers I thought about buying a big American RV.
With all the HEAVY wood in the inside...If they got more than 2 MPG I'd be shocked...shocked!!!!
