Democratic politicians are always looking for new ways to ‘expand voting access’, whether its to dead people or, in this case, illegal immigrants.  Today, New York City announced that they will allow their roughly 900,000 non-citizens to vote in local elections.  Just after the legislation passed in the New York City Council, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced a lawsuit against the city.  The Daily Mail Reports

The Republican National Committee is launching a suit against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, the city council and the city board of elections over a new policy allowing around up to 900,000 noncitizens to vote in municipal elections.

The RNC is filing suit together with the New York GOP and state and local office holders, including city council members who voted against the legislation.

‘American elections should be decided by American citizens. If Democrats can subvert elections this flagrantly in America’s largest city, they can do it anywhere,’ RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement provided to DailyMail.com.

‘The RNC is suing to protect the integrity of our elections, and we stand ready to do the same wherever Democrats try to attack the basic security of your ballot.’

The measure passed in New York city is just the newest effort by Democrats to relax voting laws.  In November, a Washington state election official said that almost anything, including circling a candidate on a paper pamphlet and writing your name on a napkin should count as a ballot in the state of Washington.

Last month, both Democratic Senators in the state of Virginia said that new redistricting in the state of Virginia didn’t help Democrats enough because it harmed their women Representatives, despite the fact that the gerrymander already helped Democrats in the state significantly.
