A Starbucks worker has the internet in an uproar after revealing a customer placed an enormous order for more than 9,500 drinks that cost over $50,000.

Esha Crosby, from California, shared footage of the enormous order on TikTok, and it quickly went viral, gaining more than 800,000 views in a matter of days.

In the clip, he showed the computer screen of his register, which had an order for 9,576 venti caramel Frappuccinos. The cost totaled $52,189.20 - and that was before tax.

Esha then turned the camera to show dozens upon dozens of drink stickers lined up on the counter, as he and another worker prepared to make the massive amounts of coffee.

'I'm done, this person needs to be my sugar daddy,' he captioned the post.

The colossal order quickly caused a stir online, and his video left viewers with a lot of questions - like, how did the customer carry all those drinks home? Did the Starbucks have enough ingredients to make them all? And who were they for?

'Wait, how y'all have enough stuff to make all that?' one person wondered.

Another said: 'Those Frappuccinos will be melted by the time they're done making them.'

'Did they have multiple cars come pick them up?' someone else asked. 'Or was it swarming with people that were promised a drink by some rich person? I need more details.'

A fourth person added: 'I think there should be rules against this. Or it needs to be planned days ahead so the store can accommodate.'

Other people joked that Esha should have taken his lunch break then, or even quit his job.

'And that's when I go on my 30,' one TikTok user joked, with another writing, 'We closed.'

'I would start crying from stress,' someone else said.

'That's when I quit,' another message read.

Some fellow Starbucks baristas shared their own experiences with large orders, but none of them came close to Esha's.

'This beats my 74 drink order at my store for sure,' one person wrote. 'I hope y'all are okay after this.'

Other people pointed out that for that price, the customer could have bought a brand new car - and there are even small homes that can be purchased for that price.

In another video, Esha explained that after receiving the order, they closed the entire store so they could work on it.

His followers begged for some more details, but unfortunately, he hasn't shared any other information other than that.
