Trump suggests 'nutjob' Alec Baldwin INTENTIONALLY loaded gun that killed Rust crewmember and says he's a 'troubled guy' who shouldn't get into fistfights with reporters

Former President Donald Trump outrageously suggested 'nutjob' Alec Baldwin intentionally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set, during a radio interview Thursday.

'In my opinion, he had something to do with it,' Trump said of Baldwin - who played Trump on Saturday Night Live - to conservative radio show host Chris Stigall. 'Who would take a gun and point it at a cinematographer and pull the trigger?' Trump asked. 'Maybe he loaded it,' the former president also floated.

The ex-president said he believed Baldwin could be responsible because he's a 'troubled guy,' 'there's something wrong with him' and he 'gets into fistfights with reporters.'

The October 21 shooting is still under investigation.

Baldwin was handed a 'cold gun,' indicating that it was safe to use, by director David Halls, who was wounded when the actor fatally shot Hutchins with a live round. Where the live rounds came from is part of the probe.

Trump has long had a beef with Baldwin.

'Look, I don't like reporters. I mean, I like some. I think some are great. Some are talented,' Trump said. 'But I don't get into fistfights.'

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died on set on October 21 after a gun was discharged by actor Alec Baldwin

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died on set on October 21 after a gun was discharged by actor Alec Baldwin

'I mean everything he does - he's a volatile guy, he's a nutjob,' the ex-president continued.

'If they handed me a gun, I would never have pointed at somebody and shoot it,' Trump added.

Trump said he thought it was 'weird' that the gun was pointed at Hutchins, the cinematographer, and not an actress on set.

'As bad as it may have been kept, meaning, you know, the people who take care of the equipment and the gun and everything else. But even if it was loaded - and that was a weird thing - and maybe he loaded it,' Trump said. 'Who would put a gun? "Here Alec, here's your gun." "Oh good." He lifted up, point it at a person and pull the trigger. And oh man, a bullet came out, she's dead.'

'So, there's something wrong with him. He's a sick guy,' Trump added.

From there, Trump mocked Baldwin's SNL appearances.

'He did a poor job of imitating me,' the ex-president jabbed.

Trump talked about how talented SNL veteran Darrell Hammond is.

Hammond played Trump on the comedy sketch show for years, before Baldwin took over while Trump was president.

Baldwin, in Trump's eyes, was 'really terrible.'

'And by the way if he was good, and I didn't like his politics or I didn't like him, I would say he was good, but he was terrible,' Trump said. 'I don't like him or dislike him, I don't actually know him.'

'But I've watched him over the years ... and he's a cuckoo bird, he's a nutjob, and usually when there's somebody like that, you know - in my opinion he had something to do with it,' Trump said of the shooting.

'But if nothing else, how do you take a gun and just - whether it's loaded or not loaded - how do you take a gun, point it at somebody that's not even in the money and just point it at this person and pull the trigger and now she's dead,' Trump concluded.
