Last week, we reported the accidental shooting death of 42-yr-old cinematographer Halayna Hutchins by Alec Baldwin, the hot-headed, anti-gun, far-left Hollywood actor.
Baldwin also wounded the director Joel Souza on the set of “Rust,” a film being shot in south Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Baldwin was the main producer of the show.
Almost immediately after the fatal shooting, disturbing news about Hannah Gutierrez Reed, a 24-year-old former model who loaded Alex Baldwin’s gun, emerged. Gutierrez Reed recently posted disturbing videos of herself on Tiktok, displaying occult images, perverted sexual fantasies, and general depravity.

A co-worker described her as “green and inexperienced,” even giving a child actor a gun without checking it.
Alec Baldwin is now likely to face a gantlet of legal challenges — including possible criminal charges — as both the man who pulled the trigger and the executive producer responsible for set safety, legal experts said.
“Loaded or unloaded, a weapon never gets pointed at another human being,” Hollywood firearms consultant Bryan Carpenter of Dark Thirty Film Services told The Post.
For safety, all live firearms used in TV and film productions are typically aimed at a dummy point, not at equipment, cast, or crew, Carpenter noted. Guns, he said, are never aimed at a person.
You never let the muzzle of a weapon cover something you don’t intend to destroy,” said Carpenter, whose New Orleans-based firm has worked on the sets of scores of TV and film productions. “All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.”
Former filmmaker and former US National Shooting Team member Peter Lake put the blame on Baldwin.
“The buck stops with Alec Baldwin on every level,” he told The Post. “It looks very bad for him. At least the captain of the Titanic had the good sense to go down with the ship.”
Fox News reports – According to a search warrant executed by the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s office, obtained by Fox News, armorer Hanna Gutierrez Reed handled the prop gun, leaving it among others on a cart outside the set location they were filming. Assistant director Dave Halls then retrieved the gun and handed it to actor Alec Baldwin announcing that it was a “cold gun,” a term used to indicate that a prop gun is safe to handle and not loaded with live ammunition.
However, somewhere along the line, there was a miscommunication and a live round was put in the weapon that discharged when Baldwin pulled the trigger, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza. TMZ previously speculated, after sources close to the set reported that the guns were sometimes used for off-time target practice, that the hobby contributed to the live-round mixup.

A number of crew members had taken prop guns from the New Mexico set of the indie Western — including the gun that killed Hutchins — to go “plinking,” a hobby in which people shoot at beer cans with live ammunition to pass the time, the insider said.
The shooting happened just a few hours later when lead actor and producer Alec Baldwin discharged a revolver after first assistant director David Halls confirmed that it was a “cold gun,” meaning that the gun did not have any live ammunition in it.
