If you live the life of a baller, someone will want to mess it up.
Lesson learned for a self-described rapper who identified himself as Melo after someone bashed his Bentley with a rock following an argument gone wrong Friday on the Upper East Side.
Melo, 24, pulled his luxury wheels up to a Bank of America branch on Lexington Ave. near E. 75th St. around 2:20 p.m., said police and sources.
Melo left his girlfriend in the front passenger seat while he went into the bank.
On the way out, he got into an argument with a man on the sidewalk, witnesses said.
The man punched Melo in the face and then picked up a large rock and smashed it into the car’s front passenger window, driver side window and the windshield, police and witnesses said.
“He tried to kill me,” Melo said at the scene.
Melo refused medical attention and did not cooperate with officers investigating the incident, cops said.
The vandal took off and there were no arrests.
