Today in 1919 Maurice Hilleman was born. His twin sister died that day & his mother 2 days later. He would become the most successful microbiologist ever, developing vaccines for measles, mumps, Hep A, Hep B, chickenpox and many more. None of his vaccines or discoveries are named after him.
