On Saturday Republican leader Mitch McConnell trashed President Trump following his second impeachment acquittal by the US Senate.
McConnell brutally slammed President Trump following his acquittal.
McConnell and the GOP elites (GOPe) worked against President Trump for years preventing him from passing his wildly popular agenda to protect America, its workers, and its citizens.
As reported earlier, McConnell did not hold back as he ripped Trump apart for a “disgraceful dereliction of duty” and attempting to “overturn the election.”
McConnell claimed that the protesters stormed the Capitol because they had been “fed wild falsehoods by the most powerful man on earth,” and that Trump was “practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day.”
McConnell cares nothing for the truth – his only goal is to take out Trump.
Mitch McConnell then suggested that President Trump can still be charged in the criminal justice system!
McConnell gave Democrats everything they were asking for — his approval for more harassment of Donald Trump, his family, his business, and his supporters.

President Joe Biden should follow his own sage advice from the statement he released hours after the “not guilty” vote by 43 Republican senators in Donald Trump’s impeachment trial led to his acquittal. Biden implored us to be vigilant in protecting our “fragile” democracy and noted that “each of us has a duty and responsibility as Americans, and especially as leaders, to defend the truth and to defeat the lies.”
To that end, the most effective way Biden can defend our fragile democracy is by calling for a full criminal investigation into the role Donald Trump played in the January 6 attack on our Capitol.
