A Tuesday night episode of 'Jeopardy!' filmed in February has left viewers scratching their heads in bewilderment after a contestant correctly answered 'pandemic' for one of the questions.     
The clue was given to during the Double Jeopardy round of the Jeopardy! College Championship. The tournament is filmed over two weeks, according to the Ringer

Nathaniel Miller, a sophomore at Yale University, had selected the $800 clue from the 'Health & Medicine' section. 
Alex Trebek read the clue: 'From a Greek word for people, it describes a disease that affects many people at one time.' 
Miller quickly responded with the correct answer and secured the points and eventually the victory, moving on to the next round of the championship. 
Many were amazed by the clairvoyant interaction, taking to social media to share their thoughts. 
One user said: '“What is a pandemic?” Too soon. #Jeopardy' 
'When “pandemic” is a response to a clue on @Jeopardy that was filmed months in advance,' added another user, including a gif of a hilarious dog.  
A different person said: 'That time “pandemic” was an answer on #Jeopardy. Today.'
Yale University took to Facebook to cheer Miller on and to congratulate him after winning the night's game.    
'Congrats to Nathaniel Miller ’22 on tonight's Jeopardy win! We'll be rooting for you in the semifinals next week!'
Miller had been competing against Kayla Kalhor, of the University of Florida, and Sophie Casarico, of Florida State University. 
Tonight! Tune in to Jeopardy! and cheer on Yale sophomore Nathaniel Miller ’22
Miller is competing in the College Championship against Kayla Kalhor, of University of Florida, and Sophie Casarico of Florida State University.
Students from the competition have been having Zoom video calls to stay in contact. 
Trebek is still hosting the show while battling pancreatic cancer.
