Cell phone footage shared with World Star Hip Hop on Tuesday, an argument between customers and employees at a Popeyes in Richmond turned physical.

It's unclear what caused the outbursts, but footage showed a male customer and a female customer arguing with cashiers behind the countertop.
Suddenly, a male staffer runs towards the man and begins to punch his upper body.
A woman who accompanied the male customer tried to intervene, but can't stop the force of the fight.
At one point a staffer alleges that the woman had a knife, but it's unclear if this was true.
As the two men continue to fight, a second male employee jumped into the fight and began hitting the customer as well.

Colleagues tried to break up the scuffle, but the three men kept lunging back into the fray.
Meanwhile, chairs and tables were toppled over during the fight and the male customer's shirt was severely stretched from the collar.
At one point, the two customers are struggling on the ground as a male employee threw punches.
The skirmish if eventually put to rest when the employees and customers are separated, but unfortunately a verbal fight continued.
