A junior doctor is assembling £10 coronavirus testing kits on his kitchen table to help medics return to the NHS front line.
Dr Mike Gough said he acted after becoming frustrated by broken Government promises.
Tens of thousands of doctors and nurses are self-isolating because they or someone in their home has symptoms of the virus, but many will not have it and could return to work after tests.

Dr Gough, 32, a hospital registrar in the West Midlands, and his brother, Chris, an intensive care consultant, crowdfunded to buy 1,000 testing cassettes as part of the kit, which includes a finger-prick lancet and solution.
It gives results in ten minutes and NHS staff can order at whatthebleep.co.uk. Dr Gough said: 'Politicians, celebrities and private companies are getting tested but our frontline staff are still struggling .'
