Over the past few years the Democratic Party has moved far to the left and most of the current 2020 candidates running to be the nominee embrace socialism to some degree or another.
Bernie Sanders embraces it openly, Elizabeth Warren a bit less so, and the rest embrace some elements of socialism but claim capitalism is an unfair system.
The new face of the House Democrats, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is all about socialism as are the rest of her “squad.”
How is this possible when capitalism combined with our Constitution and system of government has done more to raise the average man out of poverty than any other system ever designed?
