CNN President Jeff Zucker defended the way CNN covered the Trump/Russia investigation by claiming they’re not investigators, they’re reporters and just cover the facts they are basically given.

And it was Brian Stelter who was good enough to share his quote and the story so Tim Pool reached out to Bri and gave CNN mad props … sorta.

Tim, you're insulting hundreds of hard working journalists. The meaning of the Zucker quote is obvious: He's contrasting federal investigators, who were charged with investigating Russia's 2016 attack, with journalists who were COVERING the federal investigation.

I agree with you about Twitter and journalists. But the people at CNN have had a hard go at doing very little leg work on huge stories.
Maybe it would be more apt to say they may be doing very hard work but very much in the wrong direction

As a Liberal I am a big fan of @brianstelter but even I know that he lied to the American people for 2 years. All we want is an apology and a promise to be better at what he does.
