Anti-Vaxx Mom Asks How To Stop Her Son From Getting Vaccines When He Turns 18, Gets Shut Down In The Comments

Teenager Ethan Lindenberger, from Ohio, made headlines this month as one of the witnesses testifying before The US Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions pleading the need for vaccines, after the story of his anti-vaxx mom made waves across the internet. Lindenberger first posted about his mom to r/nostupidquestions on Reddit asking if he could get vaccinated without parental consent. Needless to say, people were triggered by the question and used it to highlight the misinformation and harm of the anti-vaxxer movement.

Well, Lindenberger’s mom is not alone. A woman turned to the internet for vaccine advice, but unlike the Ohio teen, this anti-vaxx mom was searching for ways on how to stop her almost-legal son from getting immunized once he became of age.

Instead of advice, the woman got some pretty brutal responses

In an attempt to squelch the anti-vaxx internet women like this have created, Facebook has decided it will no longer permit advertisements that include false information on vaccines along with removing targeting options such as “vaccine controversies.”
Anti-vaccine propaganda has had such far-reaching influence that measles outbreaks have surged around the globe. The World Health Organization has named the anti-vaxx movement as ‘vaccine hesitancy’ – “the reluctance or refusal to vaccinate despite the availability of vaccines,” and lists it as one of the top threats to global health for 2019.
The most widely spread and disproven hoax about vaccines is that there is a link between the measles vaccine and autism. Facebook is not the only platform to tackle this issue, in 2017 Pinterest, explicitly banned the “promotion of false cures for terminal or chronic illnesses and anti-vaccination advice.”

  1. Unfortunately, pro-vaxxers don't read. They don't read rational discourse, they don't read scientific journals, they don't read vaccine damage statistics. Therefore your very well thought out comment will become bottom of the birdcage fodder for those who tweet. Life for tweeters is comprised of thoughts of 140 characters or less. Sorry for the bad news. Great comment.

  2. As the parents of a vaccine-damaged child, we have firsthand experience with what can go wrong. Immediately after his regime of shots at 11 months, our healthy and happy son broke out in rashes from head to toe. We were given every sort of medication, none of which worked. Doctors declared him "incurable" He stopped growing entirely for three years and became a miserably itchy and oozing mess for the next 7 years. We were never informed about the often serious reactions to some of the ingredients and preservatives in vaccines, which can include mercury. He was also found highly allergic to eggs, which are used to grow the vaccines. With radical dietary changes we've got his condition under control, and now at age 14 he is much better, but will have to be careful the rest of his life. 'Herd Immunity' is an oxymoron. Notice there continue to be outbreaks in communities where literally everyone is vaccinated. This is a multi-billion dollar scam. Governments do not care about you.

  3. I am extremely sorry for your sons suffering at the hands of a corrupt medical system. This is another of many stories that don't break the media stranglehold on information that is relevant in the world we live in. When money is more important than truth, people suffer and die. We have the best government money can buy and the people will be oppressed and subjected to cruel and unusual punishment until the situation changes. I encourage you to find a way to get your story out. This will change, one citizen at a time.

  4. I've read the product descriptors, included with the vaccines and it scares me to death!
I'm not afraid of the un/attenuated virus! It's all the stated reactions and complications
from injecting these dangerous adjuvants/chemicals that ultimately concerns me.
A fellow colleague RN ,asked me once if I would like the Flu shot as she had one dose left
in the vial ( 10 shots per vial). The reason being that according to WHMIS (Workplace safety procedures)
she either had to dispose of it correctly as a Hazardous substance due to the Mercury(Thimerosol) or the preferred method "inject me" ! Suffice to say after we had a good laugh at the irony,I declined!
