Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was accused by a youth activist of kicking her Thursday on Capitol Hill. Videos of the incident show Green being swarmed by young activists calling for gun control as she walked from the Capitol to a nearby House office building when a young woman blocked her on the sidewalk.

Greene was peppered with questions as she walked with Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) and a staffer who tried to give a little separation between Greene and the mob, many of whom were holding up smartphones to record the encounter. Greene politely but firmly debated all comers as she walked. One young man wearing a dark suit, Voters of Tomorrow Executive Director Santiago Mayer, did a progressive version of the Alex Stein confrontations.

A young female activist in a light blue dress, self-identified as Marianna Pecora with Voters of Tomorrow, got next to Greene and debated her on gun control. After a few seconds the young woman moved in front of Greene while speaking to other activists and then slowed down, blocking Greene’s path. The young woman can be seen reacting sharply and moving out of Greene’s way. What Greene did to her, if anything, is hard to see on the video.

The young woman posted to Twitter, accusing Greene of kicking her, “My name is Marianna Pecora, I’m the Deputy Communications Director
@VotersTomorrow and @RepMTG just kicked me.’

In response, Voters of Tomorrow threatened Greene, “WATCH: @RepMTG physically and verbally assaults our young organizers. We won’t let her get away with this.”

Greene posted her own video of the confrontation. Greene is civil and engaging, but does not cower to the bullying and passive/aggressive blocking of her walking.

Mayer posted his own video, “Marjorie Taylor Greene just told me that I should simply move to another country if I didn’t like children dying in schools.”

Greene responded online saying, “Just like I said, he’s a paid political activist, who just so happens to be blessed to have immigrated to our great country. He should respect and be grateful for American freedoms, like our 2A, instead of trying to destroy them. If he doesn’t like it, he can go back.”

There will likely be a Capitol Police investigation. The activists may not be happy with the results if impeding a member of Congress is a crime and of course, MTG, who has been swatted several time recently, has a right to defend herself.
