A mother has revealed her shock after discovering $247 hidden in her five-year-old daughter's plastic toy case.
Clarissa Garza, who uses the handle @rissa_xo.xo on TikTok, went viral after sharing a video of herself going through her little girl's L.O.L. Surprise Pop-Up Store and finding a wad of cash in the drawer.
The mom from Dallas, Texas, explained that she was cleaning her daughter's room while she was with her father and saw the money in her toy.
'She's five, so I don't know where she would get money from,' she said while struggling to open the case. 'Let's see how much is in here.'

When she counted all of it, she realized her daughter had stashed a total of $247 — which she likely pilfered.
The video has been viewed more than 22.4 million times since it was posted on November 26, and commenters couldn't resist cracking jokes.

Garza confirmed in the comments that her daughter had taken the money from her purse, and in a follow-up video she confronted the adorable thief.
The mom told her smiling daughter that she found the money in her toy and asked if she put it there. The little girl repeatedly nodded to say she did.
'Where did you find that money at?' Garza continued.
'In your purse,' her daughter admitted.
When asked why she took the money, she explained she wanted 'to keep it safe.'

The mom agreed to get her daughter a piggy bank to store her savings on the condition that she stopped taking money out of her purse
