The NYPD has released body camera video from October showing an intense shootout near the Barclays Center when two police officers returned fire at an unlicensed 21-year-old driver who took off at a messy traffic stop.

The footage from October 7 shows Officer Williams Mattocks of the 78th Precinct firing two rounds at a 2017 BMW 540 driven by Nasir Fisher, who was reportedly seen outside a Chick-fil-A on Flatbush Avenue with a gun, according to the NYPD, which shared the footage on Christmas Eve.

Mattocks appeared to find the suspect driving on the street across from the arena.

Bodycam footage further shows Fisher not following the officer's command to roll down his driver seat's window, before steering around police cars and congested traffic to make a U-turn onto Atlantic Ave.

'What are you doing?! Stop moving the car!' Mattocks is heard saying in the video, before quickly getting into his vehicle to chase the driver.

Fisher was then eventually stranded in traffic at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and South Portland St, north of the arena, before another police officer pulled up to the suspect's vehicle to try to break the driver's window with his firearm, the NYPD said.

To make matters worse, Fisher then crashed into a bystander's Toyota Rav 4 in front of him and sped above the street's curb.

He opened fire on Maddocks and other police officers, who managed to catch up the suspect through another route, before a shootout between both parties took place, prompting Fisher to flee east.

The suspect, who shook off police officers, was arrested two days later, according to NYPD.

Charges related to the incident include a misdemeanor for reckless driving, criminal possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor offense for driving without a license.

Fisher's vehicle also had counterfeit New Jersey temporary license plates, according to legal documents citing charges that were filed in Kings County Criminal Court, in Brooklyn.

The incident is currently under investigation, NYPD reported. Dailymail.com has reached out to NYPD for comment.

Fisher's next trial appearance is on January 31 of next year. He was arraigned on Oct. 10 before the case was adjourned. He is currently released on recognizance.
