Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo, 24, shared an article that chalked up the sexual misconduct allegations that ended her father Andrew Cuomo's ten-year stint as the governor of New York a 'manufactured #MeToo-style PR offensive.'

'Finally. Please read,' she captioned a tweet sharing the article, published on Substack by independent journalist Michael Tracey and entitled 'Unprecedented Abuse Of Power: What The Media Still Isn't Telling You About The Cuomo Debacle.'

The youngest Cuomo shared the critical article just days after her father was charged with forcible touching relating to the allegation of Brittany Commisso, a former aide who claimed Cuomo groped her breast in the office of the Executive Mansion in Albany in December 2020.

The long-time Governor of New York stepped down from his position in August after nine women accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior ranging from unwanted sexual comments to unwanted sexual contact.

The author of the article she shared speculates that, after failed attempts to oust the former governor who 'almost certainly would never have been defeated' at the ballot box in 2014 and 2018, Attorney General and gubernatorial hopeful Letitia James conducted 'seedy machinations' to unseat him.

James' spokeswoman, Delaney Kemper, did not return DailyMail.com's requests for comment at press time.

'His “progressive” antagonists within the Party (such as James) would’ve been stuck with him for as long as he cared to stay in office,' wrote Tracey.  'They settled on the most reliable tool they have in their arsenal to settle internal Democratic Party disputes: a manufactured #MeToo-style PR offensive.'

In sharing the #MeToo-critical piece, the self-proclaimed 'social justice advocate who focuses on consent education and mental health' is deviating from previous stance on the treatment of sexual misconduct allegations.

A Brown University graduate, the 24-year-old founded the club 'Cultivating Upstanders for Sexual assault Prevention,' which 'explicitly identifies the attitudes and behaviors in a given community that allows sexual assault to occur' according to her LinkedIn.

This year in January, she co-produced the podcast 'How Are You?' which featured interviews with survivors of domestic violence.

In college, she wrote an Op-Ed in the Brown Political Review decrying the 'pattern of... discounting the credibility of reports of assault and dismissing survivors' in universities, claiming that schools' efforts at due process for those accused of sex crimes 'harm against the healing of the victim.'

The author of the piece Michaela shared, who has criticized Cuomo in articles for the New York Post, The New Republic, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian and other publications, wrote that he was 'the only person... who even attempted any kind of skeptical inquiry into these machinations against Cuomo.'

'I’m not surprised that a Cuomo family member would appreciate the fact-based fairness, even if it’s far from apologia for Cuomo’s entire political career,' he told The  Post
