Rapper Fetty Wap has been arrested on federal drug charges and was taken into custody at the Citi Field stadium in New York on Thursday.
The rapper, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, was arrested by FBI agents at the sports stadium.
The indictment against him is sealed, but he is expected to be arraigned this morning in a federal New York courtroom.
Hours before his arrest, the rapper posted a cryptic note on his Instagram story, writing: 'N***** move cautious never worried,' with a prayer emoji and a crown emoji.
It's unclear how long he has been under FBI investigation or if anyone else has been implicated in the probe.
The rapper's attorney, Navarro Gray, told TMZ that he hopes it is 'all a big misunderstanding': 'He sees the judge today. Hoping he gets released so we can clear things up expeditiously.'
