Morning Joe’ host Joe Scarborough just made clear the he, his wife Mika and the rest of his fellow travers over at MSNBC use a different version of the U.S. Constitution than the rest of us.

Scarborough claimed that SCOTUS stripped Americans of a constitutional right that had been written into the Constitution for 50 years because the allowed the Texas abortion law go into effect until the lower courts rule on the issue.

“And you know, Mika, just there’s so much about this [Texas abortion] ruling I don’t get,” Scarborough began. “As you know, one of my favorite sayings is that in politics, sometimes when you win you lose and when you lose you win. That saying, of course, from the late Illinois senator Paul Simon applies to this new Texas abortion law, where the losers aren’t just limited to Republican politicians.”

“Another institution deeply damaged by the Texas law is the U.S. Supreme Court who willingly — and I really still can’t believe this — they willingly went along with the GOP’s ploy to strip Americans of a constitutional right that 70% of Americans support,” he added. “A constitutional right that’s been recognized by the Supreme Court for 50 years.”

“And they did so based purely on procedural grounds. Now in so doing, the five conservatives on the court — I don’t call that conservative, but they call themselves conservative — the five conservatives on the court, like the Texas legislature were too clever by half, their shortsighted move [inaudible] dissimilar on constitutional laws being passed in blue states that could ban handguns, ban shotguns, could temporary take away the rights of citizens to homeschool their children, could temporarily take away the rights of children being able to say prayers in private schools or to engage in any other constitutionally protected right, just so long as that state follows the Texas legislature’s model.”

“It’s a mess,” he claimed. “I’m not sure what those five justices thought they were accomplishing with their Texas abortion ruling, but whatever it was, it’s going to be short-lived and is going to create constitutional chaos.”

“And unfortunately, and I really do think this may be the most damaging legacy of this case, it’s going to encourage extremists, possibly on both ends of the political spectrum, to attack the rights of their political opponents in state legislatures. The Supreme Court, they’ve embarrassed themselves with a bad decision that sets a dangerous precedent and is bad for all Americans.”

Clearly Joe Scarborough uses a different version of the U.S. Constitution than the rest of us.

I spent some time this morning reviewing that important document and nowhere did I see the right to abortion written in.

Joe Scarborough and the rest of the leftist media will say practically anything to advance their narrative, whether it is true or false is irrelevant to them.

Why do leftists think abortion is a constitutional right when it is never even mentioned, yet guns are not, even though they are explicitly mentioned in that important document?

How would you respond to Joe Scarborough on his claim that abortion is a constitutional right and has been for the past 50 years?
