Minnesota parents accused a woke school district of asking teenagers to role play as transgender and homosexual characters and telling children as young as four years old to refer to a female as a 'person with a vulva' as part of the sex education curriculum.
On Monday, the Richfield Public Schools' board members heard the parent's complaints about a sex-ed curriculum by Advocates for Youth - a Planned Parenthood-sponsored program - dubbed the 3R's (Rights, respect, responsibility).
The curriculum includes situations where teenagers are 'turned on,' 'hooking up' and 'doing awesome things' to each other, Aphanews reported.
One of the mothers said the lessons conflict with basic family values.
'When is it okay to tell kindergarteners 'clitoris is a very sensitive little area?' Catherine Elkeberry said at the board meeting.
'When is it appropriate to coach sixth graders in asking consent for sex and telling them they know best when they are ready for sex?'.

The claims, however, have been denied by the district, which includes seven schools in the Minneapolis school district.
Jennifer Valley, Director of Communications for the district, told DailyMail.com on Friday that the district is not teaching kindergarteners to participate in exercises with sexually explicit content, nor are secondary level students asked to perform in the scenarios.
Valley said only a portion of the 3R's is used in kindergarten, and it does not include role-play exercises.
At the secondary level, role-play scenarios might be used, but not the ones included in the 3R's, she said.
'At the K-5 level, our licensed school social workers teach students one to two age-appropriate health and safety lessons per classroom that align with national education standards.
'Topics may include the anatomically correct names for body parts, a person's right to keep their body safe by expressing their level of comfort with touch, and Identifying a safe adult to confide in if needed.
'We do not teach elementary students about anal sex, show them graphic images or ask them to role play, as has been reported in the media,' said Valley.
But parents fumed at any 3R programs being taught in the schools.

'This goes far beyond teaching respect and tolerance and is consciously confusing children about their gender and sexual orientation,' Elkeberry said.
The role-playing scenarios include students being asked to act gay or transgender and decide whether they should or should not have sex with others. Another section of the 3Rs is focused on anal sex and prevention of STD's, while warning teachers that male students might have a homophobic response to the exercise.
'Should this happen in your class, it's important to stop what you are doing, notice the interaction, and ask for the class members to reflect on what's happening and why. Direct the students back to your class ground rules — and reinforce the agreement to be respectful — and that making homophobic comments is not respectful,' the Planned Parenthood-sponsored curriculum advices teachers.
The chair of the board, Tom Pollis, highlighted that while the curriculum does include consent, and topics about sexuality, these are provided to students according to their grade an age.
He said that the curriculum has been used 'for a number of years' and that parents are informed in advance that they are allowed to opt-out of some or all of the lessons.

'Role playing is a classic pedagogical tool for assisting people to begin learning the social skill of taking the other's perspective. In many cases it become a pedagogy of oppressed and oppressors,' said John C Libert.
The Advocacy for Youth website, however, claims that lessons on gender and pronouns is not started until children reach an older age.
'In younger grades, where students may not yet be familiar with gender issues or equipped to process them, this curriculum uses gender binary terms. However, as students age, the curriculum introduces gender neutral names and a wide range of identities, and in addition, is careful to note that biological sex characteristics are separate from gender identity.'
An official statement from Richfield Public Schools read: 'This week, we have received national attention for our sexual health program. The problem is, the information being shared is inaccurate and misleading.
'The curriculum that we use at the elementary level comes, in part, from the 3Rs. (Rights, Respect, Responsibility) from Advocates for Youth. You can learn more about it on their, however, we only use a few select lessons from this program—not the entire curriculum.
'At the secondary level, we do not use the 3Rs,' it was added in the statement.

In the board meeting, Julie Quist, member of the Child Protection League, said that parents are intentionally being deceived and misled about what their children are being taught.
The Institute for Research and Evaluation conducted a comprehensive study on the effectiveness of programs.
'Out of 60 school-based studies, no credible evidence of effectiveness was found for sustained reductions in teen pregnancy or STDs. There was no evidence of effectiveness for increasing consistent condom use,' Quist said.
