A Jacksonville mother is now urging people to get vaccinated after the tragic loss of her two sons to COVID-19
Lisa Brandon's two sons Aaron and Free Jaggi, 35 and 41, died only 12 hours apart on August 12 and 13. They contracted the virus and double pneumonia, and died 12 days after being admitted to the hospital. Free was reportedly put in a medically induced coma to help him with his symptoms.
Neither was vaccinated. Brandon and her sons lived on the south side of Jacksonville and said 'everyone got sick in late July.'
Unfortunately, the two men got severe cases and when she took them to the hospital, both were admitted to the ICU and put on ventilators.

Free died first on August 12, and Aaron followed hours later.
Brandon, who received the Moderna vaccine and credits it with her mild case, said her two sons were not vaccinated and now she is urging others to go get one.
'It's a parent's worst nightmare,' mother Lisa Brandon said.
Family friend Brittany Pequignot has since started a GoFundMe campaign to help Brandon cover the cost of her boys' funerals
'The only reason I'm doing this is to put the word out to please get vaccinated,' she told News 4 Jax. 'That’s all I lived for, for them.'
This isn't the first time Brandon has lost a child. Her third son, David, passed away five years ago.
Brandon believes Free and Aaron would be alive today if they opted for the vaccine and hopes other learn from her tragedy.
Brandon now is moving out of her home where she divided the rent with her sons.
Pequignot said the Brandon has 'suffered more than most' and is struggling to pay her bills as she lives off Social Security
Since their deaths, friends and family have tried to offer support. Family friend Brittany Pequignot set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the costs of the funerals.
The page says Brandon lived off Social Security and that she has 'suffered more than most' in the last year and a half.
'I hope this story reaches you and inspires you to not only help, but to pray for her during this terrible time in her life. Any little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.'
The fundraiser has reach almost $19,000 of it's $30,000 goal.
