Ted Cruz savages Seth Rogen saying he is 'living rent free' in the Hollywood star's head after the actor reignited their feud by calling the senator 'a fascist' and 'a terrible man whose words have resulted in death'

Ted Cruz says he 'lives rent free' in Seth Rogen's head after the actor attacked him on Stephen Colbert's late-night show on Thursday.

Cruz and Rogen became locked in a bitter war of words in January, when the Knocked Up star, 39, labeled the Texas senator, 50, a 'white supremacist fascist' on Twitter.

A social media spat ensued, but it now appears Rogen is eager to reignite their fight, launching a fresh tirade against Cruz while speaking with Colbert.

'Ted Cruz is a fascist. He denies the reality of the election. His words caused people to die,' Rogen raged, referencing the Capitol riot on January 6.

When pressed by Colbert about their feud, the actor stated: 'Feud implies equal ground. Feud implies two people hitting each other with baseball bats... I'm [just] pointing out the fact that he's a terrible man whose words have resulted in death.'

A spokesperson for Cruz subsequently told Fox News: 'We know Sen. Cruz is busy fighting to save the country from Biden's disastrous policies. It's surprising to see that he's living rent free in Seth Rogen's head at the same time'.

Rogen recently launched a marijuana company, Houseplant, which prompted Colbert to question the actor on Thursday night as to whether he would ever smoke weed with Cruz.

'It would be beneficial to him because it would be humanizing in some way to hang out with me, I imagine,' Rogen joked.

However, the left-wing actor went on to seriously state that he had tried in vain to make friends with conservatives in recent months.

'There are people in my life who hold the beliefs that Ted Cruz holds and I really try to engage with them throughout the last year and ultimately it was horrifying, and truly, I felt like there is nothing I could convey that would reframe this person's reality as they viewed it,' he stated.

'So, no…I don't think being nice to Ted Cruz, for me, I don't think that would be a positive thing for the world'.

The pair's spat began back in January when Rogen responded to a tweet posted by Cruz in which he was critical of America rejoining the Paris Climate Accords.

'F*** off you fascist,' Rogen replied.

Cruz then shared a screenshot of  Rogen's message and tweeted: 'Charming, civil, educated response. @Sethrogen If you're a rich, angry Hollywood celebrity, today's Dems are the party for you. If you're blue collar, if you're a union member, if you work in energy or manufacturing… not so much.'

The pair's war of words only escalated from that point forward.

Rogen responded: 'If you're a white supremacist fascist who doesn't find it offensive when someone calls your wife ugly, Ted Cruz is the exact motherf***er for you.'

Rogen later trolled Cruz after the senator sent out a tweet saying the first film he saw in cinemas was Walt Disney's Fantasia.

'It was playing at a film revival. It scared me; I cried — I was 4. My mom had to take me out,' he wrote, adding, 'Good times.'

Rogen responded: 'Everyone who made that film would hate you.'

'They're all dead. So I think we're good. And Walt Disney was a Republican,' Cruz wrote in a quote tweet.

'Even though you behave online like a Marxist with Tourette's (screaming 'F U! F U!' is really, really clever), your movies are typically pretty funny. I'm sure you hate that I enjoy them.

'Shut up and go away', Rogen retaliated, again calling Cruz a 'f**king fascist'.

Cruz claimed Rogen was a 'moron', before the actor hit back accusing the senator of inciting the insurrection on Capitol Hill by contesting the results of the 2020 Presidential Election.

'Your lies got people killed,' Rogen wrote, referencing the January 6 attacks that left six people dead.

'You have blood on your hands'.
