Police said that ads were found throughout Hispanic newspapers, radio ads on local Hispanic radio stations, and flyers throughout the Golden Gate and East Naples areas.

The ads were first published in December 2020, leading to the alleged in-person encounters beginning in mid-January 2021 and ending mid-March 2021.

A sign shared by the department appears to offer services for love spells and cleanings.

WBBH reports that the woman - identified by victims as being named Rosalia - told victims that they had 'darkness inside them' and that she 'needed to fix it.'

One man who scheduled an appointment with Rosalia said that she had tarot cards and told him after his 'reading' that he needed to sleep with three eggs under his bed. He would need to bring them to her the next day, according to a police report.

The next day, the man brought the eggs to the woman. When she opened them over his head, the first contained blood, the second needles and the third worms.

After that, there was still 'darkness' present in the man's life. This prompted Rosalia to demand that he bring her all her money and borrow money from friends and family.

He brought her $29,500, according to the report. But Rosalia took the money to a 'temple' in Fort Myers after claiming there was 'a darkness in the money.'

Rosalia disappeared soon after, cancelling their next appointment and not responding to any of his messages.

Victims have describe the woman as being possibly Hispanic or Eastern European, speaking 'Spanish with unknown accent/dialect.'

The woman is described as being approximately 5'2" with blonde hair and is said to have a medium build.
