A 92-year-old woman and her 64-year-old son have been found dead in their New York City apartment after her worried daughter called the cops because she could not get in touch with them.

Their bodies were discovered when police entered the apartment in the Tate building at 535 W. 23rd St, in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.

It is believed that the woman died before her son, and that he had been dead for several days when cops arrived, sources told the New York Post

The source said bottles of Febreze odor eliminator spray were found in the apartment, and bottles of Tylenol were found in the man’s room.
