According to my calcuations, the colder you are, the happier you are. Also if you live in these contries and don't move a lot due to being cold, you die. If you are going to move, you might as well work and make money for moving so therefore the colder you are the more you move and the more money you make. If you make more money, you can share more easily with others and pay more taxes and give to charity. If you give more, you are scientifically shown to be happier as well. If we can just convince everyone to move toward the poles the world would be a happier place!
