Trump GSA Chief Gets Surprising Support For Blocking Biden Transition, From Clinton's Ex-GSA Chief (Cartoon)

President Trump’s Government Services Administration (GSA) chief just received a surprising support on the heels of his decision to block a Biden transition until all of the legal challenges are resolved, from none other than President Clinton’s former GSA chief himself.

After all, President Bill Clinton’s GSA chief faced a similar decision during the contentious 2000 election standoff between George Bush and Al Gore.

At the time, Bush refused to concede and was denied access to official government offices and cash for a transition until the U.S. Supreme Court came to a conclusion on the recounts. Gore then conceded and Bush was ultimately certified as the winner.

Via the Washington Times:

Former General Services Administration Administrator David J. Barram said he understands the situation current Administrator Emily Murphy is in because he held off signing off on transition funds during the fight between George W. Bush and Al Gore in the 2000 election.

“Get the facts, and act on evidence,” he said.

Murphy has been criticized for not signing off on the transition because the Trump White House is still fighting over ballots in several states. In 2000 the fight was just in Florida.

The Trump case, he said, “is dramatically different,” in part because the majority of the media has called the election for Biden.

And despite that, he said that Murphy is just doing her job.

“I think the winner is pretty clear, but I sympathize with the GSA administrator, Emily Murphy,” he said.

General Services Administration Administrator Emily Murphy is doing the right thing by blocking a possible Joe Biden transition.

After all, until the recounts are done, and the court cases are settled, Joe Biden is NOT the president-elect and he certainly should not have access to transition funds, nor should he receive security briefings.

In fact, if Democrats were smart and honest, they should embrace a fair and transparent recount of all of the votes in PA, MI, WI, GA and AZ.

If we conservatives see that Joe Biden won this election fair and square, we won’t be happy, but we’ll accept the result, just like we did when former President Barack Obama won in 2008 and 2012.

The fact that Democrats and their media allies are hysterically claiming that any recount or failure of the President to concede is a danger to the republic just leaves us suspicious and wondering exactly what is is that they are attempting to hide.

It makes us think they really did cheat on a huge scale and are doing everything they can to hide it.
