Tucker Carlson has revealed that UPS told him it found his lost Hunter Biden documents on the floor of a shipping store in Manhattan, and is demanding answers about how the flash drive came loose from a sealed package.

On his show Thursday night, the Fox News host updated viewers on the saga, a day after revealing that the purportedly damaging documents had been lost on Monday while being shipped from New York to Los Angeles.

Carlson revealed that the documents 'pertaining to the Biden family' were not received from Hunter's ex-business partner Tony Bobulinski, whom he interviewed in LA on Monday. He also said that his producers had made a copy of the files before attempting to ship them.

The host did not reveal any of the contents of the documents on Thursday, saying 'we wanted to assess what we had, and we're still assessing it' for credibility, newsworthiness, and any potential legal issues.

Though UPS found the lost flash drive, Carlson expressed outrage over the lack of information about how it was lost, saying that two people verified it had been sealed inside a shipping envelope before being dropped off for shipping.

'Unfortunately we still don't know what happened,' Carlson said. 'UPS is a reliable company, they rarely lose anything,' he added. 'And yet they lost our Biden documents. How? UPS won't tell us how.'

Carlson said UPS executives told him on Thursday that an employee at the Manhattan store on 43rd Street had found the flash drive on the floor, and had dropped it on a supervisor's desk.

The executives said the flash drive remained on the desk until Carlson took his complaint public on Wednesday, suggesting that the documents may have been intentionally intercepted.

However, Carlson said that the shipping company refused to offer further details, telling him in a statement: 'There are no more details. Security is returning it. Apologies again that we were unable to deliver it next day at the service level you requested.'

Carlson said it was 'unlikely' that the package was torn open by a machine, something that UPS says almost never happens.

'How did our flash drive get separated from the package it was sealed in?' he demanded to know.

'We are left with the obvious explanation: someone, for some reason, opened our package and removed a flash drive containing documents that were damaging to the Biden family.'

As a side note, Carlson added that he would only report on documents that shed light on the Biden family's business dealings, and Joe Biden's potential role in them, saying he was not interested in airing sordid personal matters.

Carlson first detailed the mystery of the vanishing documents during his Wednesday evening show on Fox News, where he also aired new audio of Hunter Biden's business partners sharing concerns that their secrets would 'blow up big time'.

'They searched the plane, and the trucks that carried it; they went through the office in New York where our producers dropped that package off, they combed the entire sorting facility, they used pictures of what we had sent, so the searchers would know what to look for,' Carlson said on Wednesday.

'They went above and beyond, but found nothing.'

He said the courier company was 'baffled and deeply bothered by this'.

'And so are we,' he concluded.

But on Thursday morning, UPS said it had located the missing files.

'After an extensive search, we have found the contents of the package and are arranging for its return. UPS will always focus first on our customers, and will never stop working to solve issues and make things right,' a spokesman said.

In his show on Wednesday, Carlson also revisited his interview the previous night with Bobulinski and aired new audio.

In the clips Rob Walker, a former Clinton official and family friend of the Bidens' who was one of the five men in their company Sinohawk, said that he was concerned their story would 'blow up big time'.

Sinohawk, active in 2017 and wound down in 2018, comprised of Hunter Biden, his uncle Jim - Joe's brother - Bobulinski, Walker, and a British businessman James Gilliar.

Gilliar, a British businessman, is based in the Czech Republic.

He had known Bobulinski, Bobulinski said, for many years.

Walker, an investor in tech, was brought into the company by the Bidens. His wife Betsy used to work for Jill Biden.

Walker is heard, on the phone with Bobulinski and Gilliar, saying: 'I just think that if somebody comes out now and verifies the story it blows up big time that's all.'

Gilliar, in a second clip, appears equally concerned, saying: 'We've got this situation now where it's escalating again because somebody, allegedly one of us three, has qualified the story. Already it's back on the front pages.'

Bobulinski, in a third clip, says that their company is attracting attention from the Chinese firm they wish to work with as a result of the Biden name.

'He was there because he was selling his family's name and that's the whole reason why the Chinese were there,' says Bobulinski.

'The Chinese would've never been there if the Biden name wasn't there.'

Carlson did not air anything more to give context of the conversation.
