Just in case you missed the news yesterday, President Donald Trump, after a successful round of treatment for Covid-19 by some of America’s finest doctors and nurses, returned to the White House on Monday evening in triumphant fashion.
The liberal mainstream media mob, especially those who make up the reporter ranks at CNN, were chomping at the bit, hoping to whatever or whomever they pray to that Trump would do or say something that they could run as the “breaking news” story of the evening.
Kaitlan Collins, a CNN White House reporter, was on the scene as Trump landed in Marine One and made his way up the Truman balcony of the White House. Moments later, Collins got the moment she’d been wishing for as the president got to the top of the balcony and took off his face covering before saluting the pilots of Marine One.
Collins let loose. She even tweeted about the moment as if she’d just single-handedly broke the Watergate story.
“But what the president is portraying by taking his mask off when he gets back to the Truman balcony to give this grand return to the White House, is that everything is fine and, as he said, don’t let coronavirus control your life,” the reporter said during the live shot.
“But that is very much still a president who has coronavirus,” Collins added as she continued, in flabbergasted fashion, to report on how shocked she and the CNN crew were to witness Trump take off his mask in what they repeatedly labeled a “PR stunt” or “reality TV stunt.”
The official Trump campaign Twitter account, on Monday night, reminded users that Collins doesn’t seem to be a big fan of wearing mask in enclosed spaces, either. Not long ago, Collins, who works for the CNN mask police department, was spotted in the White House press briefing room removing her mask after the cameras were shut off.
