Newly-released bodycam footage has revealed the moment a female probation officer who shot her husband exchanged gunfire with cops before she and her two children were found dead after a five-hour stand-off in their Ontario home.

Christine Robles, a probation officer for San Bernardino County, and her two school age children were found dead from gunshot wounds inside their home on Saturday December 14 2019.

Officers had been called to the residence on the 1300 block of East F St in San Bernardino County after her husband dialled 911 to report she had shot him.

Cops arrived on the scene and a shootout ensued between officers and Robles in the doorway to the home.

Robles' husband managed to get to safety but Robles barricaded herself in the home and officers later found the bodies of her and her two children in a bedroom.

Ten months on from the incident, Ontario Police Department has released never-before-seen footage from the bodyworn camera of one of the first officers on the scene, showing the moment the officer-involved shooting broke out.

The 911 call made by Robles' husband telling the dispatcher he was 'bleeding' from 'everything' was also released by authorities, providing more details on the events surrounding the incident.

Robles' husband dialled 911 at around 2:37 a.m. on the morning of Saturday December 14 2019 to report that he had been shot and needed medical attention.

He appears confused in the call, telling the dispatcher he 'doesn't know' what happened but that he is bleeding from 'everything'.

'Okay tell me exactly what happened,' the dispatcher is heard saying in the 911 audio.

'I don't know,' the caller responds.

'Why did you dial 911? What's the medical emergency?' asks the dispatcher.

The man replies: 'I'm bleeding.'

'Bleeding from where?' asks the dispatcher, to which the man replies: 'Everything.'

'Where exactly sir?' the dispatcher continues.

'My nose, my mouth,' says the man.

'Okay what happened to you?' the dispatcher asks.

He replies: 'I don't know.'

Ontario Police said the man went on to tell the dispatcher his wife and two children were also at the home and that his wife was bleeding as well.

The Ontario Fire Department and two Ontario police officers were then dispatched to the scene.

The cops arrived at the home around 2:46 a.m. and walked up to the front door - which had a metal security screen in front of it - and knocked on the door, said Ontario PD.

The newly-released bodycam footage reveals the moments that followed.

The video begins with a view of the front door as the officers wait for a response.

The door then opens slightly and an officer's arm is seen pulling open the security gate as a man stood in the doorway.

'How you doing?' asks one of the officers.

The man replies: 'My wife, she's crazy.'

'Wait, wait, wait - what's going on?' the cop asks.

'She has a gun,' the man says.

One of the cops is then heard shouting 'hold on, hold on, hold on' and quickly pulls the man out of house as the officers start shooting into the home.

The footage is unclear but police have said the officers had seen the man's wife - later identified as Robles - in the hallway behind the man, armed with a handgun that she was pointing at the man and the cops.

Police said this was the moment the officers exchanged gunfire with Robles.

The footage shows at least four shots are fired as the security gate swings shut and the officers back off down the driveway.

It is still unclear if Robles fired her weapon at the officers or if all the shots heard were fired by the cops.

It is also not clear if one or both officers discharged their weapons into the home.

Police said Robles was seen retreating further into the home away from the door.

The footage shows the cops and the man retreat to the front lawn.

Expletives are heard and then one of the cops is heard reporting 'shots fired, put it up put it up' as they are clear away from the front door.

Key questions remain over the case including whether Robles was struck by any of the shots fired by officers and whether she died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound or from a wound sustained in the officer shooting. The crime scene the following day

Cops then direct the man away from the home and both cops have their weapons drawn as they are at the end of the lawn.

Police said the officers moved the victim to safety where he got medical attention for multiple gunshot wounds that he sustained prior to police arriving on the scene.

Several units responded to the scene including SWAT teams and a crisis response team, police said.

The crisis response team tried to make contact with Robles inside the home.

A stand-off rumbled on for five hours with no communication made with anyone inside the home, police said.

Officers finally entered the building and found Robles and her two children dead in a bedroom located on the southwest side of the home.

All three died from gunshot wounds, police said.

Key questions remain over the case including whether Robles fired any shots when the cops were on the scene.

Ontario Police Department told DailyMail.com authorities are still waiting on official findings including ballistic lab results, autopsy reports and findings from the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office to determine cause of death of all three deceased.

It is unclear whether Robles was struck by any of the shots fired by officers and whether she died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound or from a wound sustained in the officer shooting.

Ontario Police told DailyMail.com Robles had multiple gunshot wounds but, until ballistics and autopsy reports are completed, it is not clear whether she was shot by officers and - if she was - whether these wounds were fatal.

Police also said it was not yet clear whether or not she fired any rounds at the officers.

It is also not clear whether the children were already dead before police officers arrived on the scene.

Ontario Police told DailyMail.com the children's cause and manner of death cannot be confirmed until the official coroner report is completed.

However, 'all of the information we have at this time indicates both children suffered gunshot wounds prior to police arrival', a spokesperson said.

'The time in which they passed away as a result of those injuries has not yet been determined.'
