July 4th Park Sign Shows What Happens When Liberals Are Allowed to Run Things, More and More Rules (3 Cartoons)

Here in one sign is exactly what happens when Democrats and leftists (same thing) are allowed to run things.
When Democrats and liberals are allowed to run things the first thing they do is create more rules and restriction for the average citizen, and this sign is just more proof.
Regan Pifer asks: how much are federal regulations costing your Fourth of July bbq?
Regulations on alcohol, fireworks, food–that delicious meat in tube form–all add up and are costing the average family an additional forty dollars.

According to the Washington Examiner:
American Action Forum regulatory policy director Sam Batkins researched the regulations on the holiday treats to determine the costs. And they are huge.
In an infographic titled “Our Regulated Independence Day,” he found the following number of rules and regulations that add up to the cost of $40 for a family of four:
— Hamburgers, 100.
— Hot dogs, 111.
— Corn, 56.
— Fireworks, 1,673.
— Beer, 182.
Thats 2,022, for those counting.
Usually, 2,022 and counting are the number of calories I consume by 5:00 p.m. on the Fourth, not government regulations.
56 regulations on corn? 182 on beer?
My only regulation is that corn on the cob serves as a vehicle for butter and salt, instead of actual nutritional value.
And we wonder if we might need to roll back some taxation and unnecessary bureaucracy? We celebrate Independence and liberty on this day, after all…
Let us eat our meat in tube form, blow things up, drink our beer, and read our Declaration of Independence (as Thomas Jefferson told us to do) without all of this nonsense…and the $40 charge that comes with it.
